AnimatorHD - (formerly
AnimatorDV) a PC based software, frame grabber, for
creating stop-motion and time-lapse animation. Can be also
used on film set as a previsualization
tool.
The system supports following sources:

SP/SDI - HDV, HDMI - DV - analog source (WDM, e.g.
VIVO graphics cards) and webcams.

for the latest Canon cameras (50D and 5D Mark II incl.
firmware 1.0.7) - enhanced EVF Gain - optional RAM
Playback on the Aux Monitor - enhanced frame size limit in
the Personal version to 1280 (incl. 720p) - tested with MS
